Jack Davis Elfriede Jelinek´s operatic collaborations

Jack Davis is Associate Professor of German at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri. He received his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a dissertation on the works of Thomas Bernhard, Elfriede Jelinek and Christoph Schlingensief. His research interests include postdramatic German-language theater, ecocriticism, psychoanalysis and the films of Christoph Schlingensief. His publications include scholarly articles on Thomas Bernhard, Christoph Schlingensief and Bertolt Brecht, as well as translations into English of writing by Brecht and plays by the German performance group Rimini Protokoll. He currently serves as co-editor of the Communications of the International Brecht Society.
